Sunday Church Service: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  1 hour

At our New York Church, just as in all Christian Science churches around the globe, we sing hymns, hear uplifting music, pray, and listen to the Bible Lesson Sermon read aloud from the desk by our first and second readers.

The lesson is comprised of citations from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy which together serve as our pastor. Christian Scientists study this lesson throughout the week prior to Sunday to deepen their understanding of God and His relation to man, and to apply the teachings to their daily lives to attain freedom and growth.

Sunday school-aged children are welcome to join a class in our Sunday School, or to attend the service. We provide childcare for babies and young children. Adults are also welcome to stay in the children’s room with their younger children while they listen to the service through the sound system.

You don’t have to be a member of either The Mother Church or this branch church to attend or practice Christian Science and be benefitted by it—though membership does have its benefits and helps support spiritual growth and connectedness!  If you’re interested in exploring membership, please ask an usher or any church member for more information.
